This short animation presents the Swiss Innovation Forces modus operandi in a unique way. At the center of the video are two superheroes, who embody different and complementary qualities that are able to overcome every obstacle when working together.
The storyboarding stage aimed at defining how to visually represent the concepts explained by the voice over, other than setting a rough visual style and visualizing the transitions between the scenes.
The style development phase then set the visual direction of the whole animation. The use of grains an lighting effects was favored over flat coloring, and a duller color palette was chosen for the initial scenes in order to highlight the presence the colorful female superhero.
The animation depicts the challenges addressed by the Swiss Innovation Forces as enemies of the two superheroes. Viruses and cyber attacks therefore turn into physical obstacles that the characters are able to avoid and destroy.
