I am an Italian digital animator and illustrator based in Tübingen – but let’s start from the beginning.
Growing up in Ferrara (Italy), I began drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. After attending a science-focused high school, I decided to pursue my passion by enrolling in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano. During my studies, I explored the themes of gender and communication, which became the focus of my master’s thesis. After graduation, I spent three years working in Milan as a visual designer for immersive exhibitions.

In 2022 I moved to Tübingen (Germany), and founded Laura Faraci Graphics, my freelancing activity as a digital illustrator and 2D animator. Here, I have expanded my animation skills by attending the Advanced Motion Methods course by School of Motion, while at the same time specializing in the creation of informative and educational content with a focus on health and social awareness.
In 2021 I wrote and published Excusing Violence, a book exploring the paradox of how social campaigns against gender-based violence can unintentionally reinforce harmful ideas and stereotypes, often at the expense of the very victims they aim to support.
