The requirement behind this explainer animation for Medistim was to create a seamless visual journey that would walk surgeons through the benefits of using TTFM as a blood flow measurement method. The goal of the video is to use symbolic images to convey data-supported information in a light and intuitive way.

The sketched storyboard was the most critical phase of the project. Based on the voice over script, the goal was to develop metaphorical visuals that precisely embodied the message and that could smoothly flow into each other. After defining the concepts for the visuals, the style frame stage helped develop a consistent visual identity characterized by the use of flat shapes and a minimal color palette that followed the brand guidelines.

After developing the visual direction, the animation stage had the creation of seamless transitions as the main focus. This involved the creation of rigs and virtual scenes that could be easily controlled as the changed shape across scenes.
