Two social campaigns by Hella Network tackle the themes of gender equality and discrimination. Both videos use a parodistic tone of voice to highlits the contradictory thought patterns that characterize partriarcal societies.
“Gira la colpa” (“Turn the blame”) is a fake children’s game ad. The board game is meant to teach little girls that, no matter what, they are the ones to blame when they suffer from male violence.
“La tombola delle scuse” (“The excuses raffle”) is a fake tombola game ad. Each number of the tombola correspond to an excuse not to invite any women as speakers of panels.
